God Save The Rave, pubblicato dalla Sheffield Tunes il 16 aprile 2021, è il ventesimo album in studio degli Scooter… Caratterizzato da sonorità prevalentemente hard-trance, trance, hardstyle e techno commerciale, contiene anche elementi di bassdrum e orchestrazione per un piacevole ascolto. Passano gli anni, cambiano alcuni dei componenti, ma la band tedesca si conferma leader della scena techno europea… Non mancano riferimenti alla situazione attuale dominata dal Covid e… l’immancabile cover country del buon Baxxter…

Il CD 2 contiene la registrazIone del live I want you to stream!, trasmesso durante la Pandemia…

Libretto testi molto curato, con immagini, crediti e i testi di tutti i brani inediti. Nel box si trovano: un paio di calzettoni, alberello profumato da auto “God save the rave” e sei adesivi…

Tra i brani spiccano, a nostro avviso ovviamente, Devil’s Symphony e God Save the Rave, seguite da Bassdrum, Never stop the show. A un gradino inferiore: Rave Teacher, Wich light switch the witch e Paul is dead, seguite da Hang the dj e Groundhog day. Buone, ma non eccelse, We love hardcore e FCK 2020…

Nel complesso un disco più che buono, scorrevole e di facile ascolto, consigliato non ai soli fan della band ma a chiunque voglia dilettarsi con l’ascolto di techno commerciale…
