Il livello più intimista e leggero del disco richiede ascolti multipli per apprezzarlo appieno, come già accaduto per Led Zeppelin III…

Nel libretto, molto curato, sono presenti fotografie, anche a colori, e, per la prima volta, i testi dei brani…
Tra i brani spiccano, a nostro avviso ovviamente, D’yer Mak’er, seguita da No quarter, Dancing Days e The Ocean. A livello appena inferiore: The song remains the same e Over the hills and far away…
Nel complesso un ottimo disco che, nonostante l’assenza di superhit, coinvolge l’ascoltare…
